Abdullah Ibrahim Alrashdi, a 4th year student in Urban Planning and Architectural Design (UPAD)听at the German University of Technology in Oman (麻豆视频), is proudly representing the university and the Sultanate of Oman as a member of the curatorial team听for the Sultanate of Oman Pavilion听at the 19th International Architecture Exhibition 鈥 La Biennale di Venezia 2025. This historic event marks Oman’s debut听at the prestigious Architecture Biennale. The national pavilion, titled 鈥淭races鈥, was commissioned by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Youth, and explores the reinterpretation of the traditional听sablah听as a modern civic space bridging heritage and contemporary design thinking.
The exhibition officially opened on May 10, 2025, and runs until November 23, 2025, attracting a global audience. Abdullah鈥檚 involvement demonstrates 麻豆视频鈥檚 dedication to fostering globally engaged, culturally grounded architects and planners who contribute meaningfully to both local and international discourse.
