We accept students with a diverse range of qualifications and backgrounds. Admission to undergraduate programmes requires applicants to meet these minimum entry requirements and to provide evidence of completing 12 years of schooling.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Foundation Programme (GUbridge) is offered to applicants who do not meet the direct admission requirements.

General Education Diploma (GED)

  1. Minimum grade of 75% in Grade 12 Advanced Mathematics.
  2. Minimum grade of 75% in Grade 12 English language.
  3. Pass in Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s direct entry exam in Mathematics and IC3.
  4. 6.0 or more in IELTS certificate.

Applicants who do not meet (3) and (4) will be offered a study place in Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Foundation Programme (GUBridge).

International Baccalaureate Certificate/Diploma (IBC/IBD)

  1. International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBD) or, International Baccalaureate Certificate (IB Certificate) with 26 points as a minimum.
  2. Obtain (5) or more for (HL) or (6) or more for (SL) in Maths: Analysis and Approaches, Further/Extended Mathematics.

CBSE/ISBE

  1. Minimum of 75% or more in the Senior Secondary School Certificate (12th Standard – Science Stream).
  2. Minimum of 75% or more in Advanced/Extended Mathematics.

AS & A-Level

  1. Two Advanced Level passes and Four AS level passes and six Ordinary Level/GCSE passes to obtain letter of equivalency from the Ministry of Education of the Sultanate of Oman. Any other combinations are subject to the acceptance of the Ministry of Education.
  2. ‘C’ or more in Further Mathematics/Mathematics or ‘B’ or more in AS level Mathematics.

American High School Diploma

  1. A minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 (on a scale of 4.0) from grade 10 through grade 12.
  2. Completion of pre-calculus courses in Grades 11 or 12 is required.
  3. A minimum SAT I-MATH score of 600 or ACT I – Math score of 24.

Iranian Certificates

  1. Minimum score of 20 points in the pre-university certificate.
  2. Minimum of 75% or more in Advanced/Extended Mathematics/Calculus/Pre-Calculus.
  3. Minimum score of 6.0 in IELTS certificate.

Pakistan Boards Certificate

  1. Minimum average of 75% in the Senior Secondary School Certificate (12th Standard).
